Well friends it’s been quite the adventure this past year and 3 months as Ray and I became new owners of Lost Mountain Lavender farm.
Excuse me for taking so long to post updates but as you can imagine we’ve had a lot to learn. So I’m hoping to get with it and update our website visitors with what’s happening on the farm and pass along some helpful information about lavender.
The only thing we haven’t been able to do yet is propagation, I’m really looking forward to starting new babies from all the wonderful lavender varieties we have here, around 120 different varieties.
The greenhouse is almost up and running but won’t be ready in time for this summer but next summer get ready, we should have plants!
I’ve been busy lining up vendors, entertainment, food and crafts for this years Lavender Farm Fair, July 19-22 , it’s looking like a lot of fun and excitement on the farm this year! We’ve also been making soap, small batches at a time, and starting on our other great products. Take a look at our Facebook page for updated pictures, spring is here, the daffodils tell me so.
